Whew, the heat is climbing this week! Just got in from the round of watering. Hey, here's yesterday harvest plus a gift of fresh figs from a dear friend. Made fig newtons for the first time with them. Wow! Homemade fig newtons are superb! Also roasted off the big butternut and put some ravioli in the freezer. I didn't pollinate the corn by hand this time around and there is a profound difference between TLC and wingin' it.
I'm now getting ready for my September seeding. Just thought I'd offer up some photos for my fellow gardeners.
