The (not a pine) Australian Pine (Casuarina equisetifolia) is a species that was introduced to south Florida years ago and began to spread, even up into some areas of the central part of the state. It's classified as a Category I non-native invasive in Florida; a major pest like the Brazilian Pepper tree; both illegal to plant or propagate in the state. I recall years ago seeing massive stands of Australian Pines all along I-95 in the southern part of the state.
