Will, thanks for sharing that wonderful article ... I totally agree, even tending a single indoor plant can change ones perspective on life! I love the idea of "Sow the City" and I've heard of some larger cities having community gardens but in the winter time when one can't really grow outdoors, they could enjoy tending a couple of "houseplants."

My motto for a long time has been "Playing in the dirt is my therapy", whether it's on my hands and knees digging in the garden outdoors, or tending to a few plants inside my home. It truly does make a difference in ones mood!
