I'm fond of quoting myself and like it when others say something like, 'to quote myself'.
But anyway, I would also have said something like 'that's a dang big bulb!' However, I don't think I would have thought to measure one. I also don't recall seeing any that have a promised or even predicted size. But I'm new to growing Amaryllis and when I pick one up and see the price, I usually but it right back down. Never ordered one online but one nice member here sent me a little bulblet a few years ago. Despite abuse by me, it's still alive and growing!

So thanks for showing us that really big booger of a bulb. And to quote myself, 'Welcome!'
