Meanwhile, I am so craving of gardening that I took the sprouty eye sections from tonights dinner potatoes (3) and planted them in a little pot.
And, experimenting with grains - sprouting them, growing to a few inches, then to feed chickens. I bought barley and whole wheat from the Lotte market, sold as people food, to see if they sprout. If not, will visit the farm store and ask if they have grain for this. If not, I guess the natural food store will have wheat berries to sprout but expecting they'd be most $?
Plant it and they will come.
