Tom, every year I try to completely ignore the possibility of importing irises from Mid-America. Even without a sale I think I would loose control.
Daphne, those irises are so lovely and as one is replacement, I don't think it even counts.
Jan, wonderful order. For me that likes a bit of color Bottle Rocket is one of the most beautiful irises I have ever had in my garden.
I had to replace mine to see it bloom. Rarely do I replace irises, I just move on to another that might work better, because in reality I have to accept that not all irises will work in my climate, but I'm so glad I tried Bottle Rocket a second time. Now I just hope that it will do as well outside as it did in the greenhouse last winter.
