This will be my first time with them, Evan. The info I've seen indicates they should be hardy to my zone 6 (new zone map puts me in zone 7, but I've had plenty of zone 7 things not come back). I figure they'll need a good scoop of mulch on them, though, and I'm going to pot up at least one trio and bring it into the basement next winter just to hedge my bet.

I have one bed (maybe 12 x 4) that's just tropicals, which makes it easier at "lift in fall" time. It would be nice to have a few tropical-looking things in the corners of that bed that didn't have to come inside!
