Have you though about what you're hoping to achieve? I don't think you'd be happy with anything on that shelf as a permanent year round solution, do you? Is it temporary?

I can tell by the way you posed the question, you're pretty sure of the answer..

I love having lush green plants in my house, and after years I've potted a lot of cuttings, so I try to rotate them. (I also don't have a lot if light). Around the house in winter and the outdoors in Summer. That's somewhat successful, but as they get bigger you do run out of room.
The plural of anecdote is not data.
The plural of bozos is Dasilyl - so please don't engage with my website troll who typically caches my first post and responds ugly just to be nasty. If it gets upity, please ignore it.
