Those rusted badly in my garden soil, so I have switched to the stainless steel wires, and the heavy duty zinc Name Plates. I also found that the combination of using the zinc wires with the zinc name plates allowed the name plate to consistently slide down. The combination of the stainless steel wires and the heavy duty zinc name plates keeps that from happening, the name plants become very hard to even force down.
