We just sold our old place and bought a new place and will be moving around June 1st. Our garden has dozens of tulips from bulbs we bought in Amsterdam many years ago. They're all in bloom now and look great. We'd like to dig up and replant the bulbs at our new place (it's OK with the new owners) but I know that digging up the bulbs in late May is probably too soon. So, if we do that will we kill them all and if it's OK how to we preserve them until the fall when we can replant them? Thanks.
