Whew! March came in like a lion in our part of the world!
Today should be better. I have daffodils in bud and crocus in bloom. The roses are leafing out even though I keep telling them to hold off for a few more weeks.
I went to our scaled-down garden show yesterday, and the only roses there were knockouts.

Succulents seem to be the big star this year. I think it's a response to all our dry heat last year. I was hoping to see some of the new petunias. I would like to plant them in the rose bed, and take out the verbena.

Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
