I think at times we perceive the tone of the written word in a different manner than it was actually meant. There have been times over the years when comments have been made (directed at both me, as well as other members) that I was taken aback by. LOL, I have to admit though, it's not unusual for me to hear the spoken word differently than how it was meant. I've been married to the same man for going on 51 years and there are still times when he will make a comment that I take the wrong way and he tells me "That's not what I said" and I respond with "Well, that's what I heard!"
Face to face communication can be difficult at times so it doesn't surprise me that online communication can be misperceived.
My thought is that many members (even long term members) like
@Frilylily may be unaware that the database photo comment area is where we should make notification about a possible incorrect photo. Perhaps she didn't realize she was supposed to enlarge the database photo and then scroll all the way to the very bottom of that page to report an incorrect entry and that it would then show up in the "Plant Photos" forum.
