I have one, it is getting a flower again this year, but last two the cold temps down below freezing a couple times killed a few branches on it and I didn't get any flowers last year. Mine is in the ground. If you plant one, keep it in a huge pot that you can move to warm place, or you can dig up the plant and store it in the winter in a closet wrapped in newspaper. I'm never getting another one, too much trouble for me, many other nice tropical plants that bounce back after freezes.
