So, I am good about deadheading and removing stalks on my daylilies, but I wonder if I'm being too eager in removing stalks. There is sometimes a new "leaf" further down the stalk. Will that also produce blooms? They don't seem to be on all the stalks, just some. They have profuse blooms for about 2 weeks and then a few here & there the rest of the season.
