Oh yes absolutely it constantly keeps sending up new shoots which has to be pinned/tied to the wall otherwise all the branches would be drooping down onto the floor, I actually tap each flower (the ones I can reach without a step ladder) very lightly each night and if a petal falls from that particular bloom I will dead-head it there and then otherwise the following morning my patio would be full of petals they seem to shed their petals so quickly within a few days of the new blooms opening, but then it's constantly growing buds so it's non stop dropping petals then me dead-heading and new buds constantly opening etc.
Of all my Roses the climber needs the most attention and maintenance to keep it tidy otherwise it would just go mad I must say it's a very vigorous plant it's about 30 years old.
