Last fall I ordered a batch of seedlings from Gilbert Wild's nursery. There were advertised as being from Brian Mathieu's hybridizing.
Some of them are blooming now; so far about half look like a refined H. fulva, but others have some interest. Anyway, to keep them straight in my garden notes, currently I am calling them by a number, in order of their first bloom showing. Long term wise, I'd like to give them a name, other than Mathieu's #4, #5, etc. Any ideas of how to best go about this -- I want to make sure that I do so in a responsible way, honoring their hybridizer.
