Being a beginner , I am in my garden every day or two , and see new crabgrass all the time . After spending 2 days deweeding in 95 degree heat , ugh , and found that they continue to regrow , I searched for a product to help by spray and a must being organic . I found a citrus scented Avenger weed killer that I mix up in a spray bottle and it seems to do the trick . Every day or so I use the small spray bottle , 1 ounce to 7 ounce of water , and it works really well ! Mind you it IS expensive but works ! Its a white gallon jug ..
