Thread OP

Hello this is my first post, I am new to gardening, and I planted seeds, without properly labeling them. Now I have this plant which is growing and two different grow bags. I am not sure if it is a weed or a plant from a seed I put in.

Welcome! definitely a weed. A form of crabgrass, I'm thinking.

Thanks Gardenfish LOL it must have Ben from the bagged dirt I used, because I don't have any weeds in my yard that look like this.

Get rid of it right away, it's an aggressive type. I had to abandon one garden because of it.

Being a beginner , I am in my garden every day or two , and see new crabgrass all the time . After spending 2 days deweeding in 95 degree heat , ugh , and found that they continue to regrow , I searched for a product to help by spray and a must being organic . I found a citrus scented Avenger weed killer that I mix up in a spray bottle and it seems to do the trick . Every day or so I use the small spray bottle , 1 ounce to 7 ounce of water , and it works really well ! Mind you it IS expensive but works ! Its a white gallon jug ..

Since it is in a pot I would recommend that you pull it and pitch it in the trash. Of course, I would like to see a close-up picture of the plant.
because I don't know what you were planting. It is likely to be crab grass and if so it is definitely a weed. It does not look like anything that
would be edible AKA a vegetable or fruit.
Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant.
