Since it is in a pot I would recommend that you pull it and pitch it in the trash. Of course, I would like to see a close-up picture of the plant.
because I don't know what you were planting. It is likely to be crab grass and if so it is definitely a weed. It does not look like anything that
would be edible AKA a vegetable or fruit.
