I have tried soaker hoses, I have tried sprinklers. I have not used drip, but I know a few people who have and it does not provide the necessary water for daylilies to reach their potential stats and when digging and moving daylilies it is hard to keep drip in the right places it seems. But I live in Alabama, and even though it often seems like we are in drought I think we are probably one of the wettest states. I still use sprinklers when I get really busy and just don't have time to hand water. But, the most efficient watering I do is with a hose and a water wand, some I like much better than others. I am on city water, and we are blessed to have great water pressure here in our location.
