Thank you everyone. I'm honestly pretty tore up over my dog right now. Now than I thought I would be. Dogs have always been a weakness for me and this was our first family furbaby.
I'm going to miss all the things she did. She just did things that we didn't think we would miss. Scratching at the bedroom door to come in, a little bark talk thing she did. Nuzzle your hand with her snout to get someone to pet her. Her uncontrollable tail wiggle when she was happy or excited. Only got 9 years with her, but she touched my family in so many ways, and now things feel empty.
We gave her the best last week we could. Steak dinner, her last walk in the neighborhood, lots of her favorite vanilla ice cream and a day at the park before her final moments. I don't know what I'm going to do honestly.
