Hi everyone,

Last week I went to my parents place and saw that their desert rose plant wasn't getting proper sunlight (they left it in an area that gets minimal light) and one of the branches was getting squishy. At first I thought it was rotting so I cut it off with a sterilized knife and sprinkled cinnamon on it. It's been a couple of days now and it seems the squishyness has spread throughout the plant (only one area is still hard). The area where I made the cut has turned dark brown/black and I think mold is growing.

Not sure if I should give up on this one or if It's possible to save it?
