(sorry if this is in the wrong thread, I'm still relatively new to the forums) I have this beautiful New Zealand Tea/Ruby Tea Tree/Leptospermum scoparium in a large container. I've had her for almost a year and I cannot find any information on how to prune this plant- online or at nurseries. I don't want to do anything to harm or hinder her growth but she's recently stopped flowering and I feel pruning would help direct some of that energy back into flowering. She's also gotten pretty unruly and slightly leggy (beautiful nonetheless). I would love advice on how to prune her, as well as maybe some insight as to why she's stopped flowering. She's in Southern California by the coast, gets approximately 5-6 hours of sun a day and is watered thoroughly when dry. I don't use fertilizer. any and all help is appreciated!! ie. do i cut into the wood? do i just pull off old flowers? do i only snip off the smaller branches coming off of the smaller branches? etc. truly any insight helps
