Hello from Permastake garden marker
Hello. Can't help but empathize about receiving tag-a-long plants. For 5 years I have tried to prune a Spirea away from an
Elderberry (Sambucus) bush. It is part of the nature of the gardening world and the survival of plants. A fascinating topic. Marking plants is certainly part of one solution.

good luck in the future
I welcome any information
