'Gingerbread Boy' has been my top red for a long time. 'Lady of Fire' has better coverage but doesn't seem to be as hardy. 'Gingerbread Boy' is also one of those semps where the green center is actually complimentary and not a detraction, it seems complete as opposed to other green-hearted-reds which can look as though the color not continuing into the center is an accident. 'Glowing Embers' can get some really warm tones I don't see in 'Gingerbread Boy', but I can definitely see the resemblance. Distinction is hard in hybridizing, with over 7000 takes on sempervivum out there it takes something really bizarre to avoid releasing something with some resemblance to something else that already exists.
