I recently got Black Cardinal and a variegated McColley's Finale as trades. I haven't photographed the Black Cardinal yet but took this photo of the newest leaf on the var. McColley's a couple days ago...these are not mature plants, either one, and neither have the leaf morphology of their adult counterparts. That said...Rojo Congo is very easily differentiated from most of these others. Its petioles are longer and hold the (smaller, rounder more cup shaped) leaves a lot more upright than the petioles of the other hybrids, which are shorter and lay more parallel to the ground, holding longer more narrow leaves
