My husband is on oxygen & goes through quite a bit of tubing. Both of us hate wasting things so I thought about making some sort of plant stake to go into pots to "pretty" them up. I just can't figure out how. They would need to be pointy & stiff at one end to go into the dirt.

Here is a simple one that came with a pot I got at a thrift store. It's simply strong wire & 3 different sized buttons.

Anyone have ideas on how I can tie these together? I'm thinking maybe decorative sand, beads, or pebbles inside the tubing.
