when dormancy occurs - you want to water less frequently & stop fertilizing

adeniums have 2 seasons ...wet & dry ... the summer months being wet & winter months being dry

expect the caudex to go through several "firmness stages" throughout the year ..... from: firm (summer) to soft (winter).....

"soft" may appear wrinkled like a raisin .... this is caused by the plant using resources stored in the caudex during the dry season

For Now - try to get on a watering schedule ....water thoroughly, to saturation one last time (notice the caudex firm up ??) ....mark the day on a calendar and do not water again for another 60 days .... resist the urge to water

Never let the plant sit in water ...and never leave the plant in freezing temps

59°f is a tad cool ....but for dormancy, is okay .... light from a southern window is also ok
