I let mine grow outside with big drainage holes during spring/winter, during summer I bring them indoors and let them be dormant, I put the outside back in early fall.

I used terracota, but I am unsure that is the best choice. I used 1/2 diacotemus earth and 1/2 very chunky coco fibers. Might be too fast draining though, as I had to water it really really frequently. (highly reccomend cyclamen to someone who forgets to water because they droop really dramatically)

My cyclamen died when I moved houses though.
