There are lots of different types of Plectranthus. Some are ornamental, some are used as a herb. I had a long, trailing fuzzy leafed variegated plant that was really nicely aromatic. I rarely walked by it without rubbing a leaf between my fingers. I never did figure out if it was one you use as an edible or not and wasn't quite bold enough to just try. I always thought it would have been great to throw in with a pot roast with the fragrance it gave off.
