You can try, but you'd have to have them potted with a reasonably established root ball- and that is a lot of dirt and pots and space. I don't think you're the first person to realize they spread rapidly.
If you are a garden person, your best bet is to offer them on a local forum like craigslist or facebook marketplace or next door For free or trade. It's a great way to meet other people, share mother nature's bounty and maybe get something back.
