Yes, very sad. I haven't been over there yet. I've got to fill the baptistery for a baptism tomorrow morning so I'll be looking at it soon.
The fire could have easily been avoided. It's been way to windy to be burning things. But, it wasn't intended, it was an accident. So the cycle of life goes. I suspect if we could give the old school house a bit of human thought it'd rather go out in a blaze of glory rather than collapse into a decayed pile of rubble. Whatever the case, that little crossroads is gonna be mighty different now.
