Yes, both 12 plus years old. One was in good health but had epiglottis failure and had to be euthanized. The other was expected.
I have buried four in the past five years. All old, two were rescue and one I knew had a limited life span but she had a great last year with us.
Recovering from broken hip and leg right now but will eventually take on another that is middle age, female and smaller. These guys got hard to handle as they got older with my age and their size.
I saw your sweetie and am glad you got another. I will have another dog but not just yet.
