Breba crop figs come out in early spring on old wood but it is hard to tell exactly. I am in zone 9a and had two or three dozen figs, about 1/2" - 3/4", on my small tree but it is out in the open and as soon as the squirrels and deer found them they were gone overnight.
Minds are like parachutes; they work better when they are open.
