That's a great link Lynn,
Those images of tectorum var. tectorum (mettenianum) do look an awful lot like the reversions you two have, a small green tectorum with redder than average tips, I think that's it. A NoID is a NoID, but in this case we have a plant that is actually traceable, you could always write a question mark on the label if you're still uncertain I suppose.
Unfortunately that var. tectorum (mettenianum) doesn't look much like my MCG Sempervivum 'Mettenianum', so that side of the riddle remains unsolved.
