New york but not really (Zone 6a)

Hi all👋 I just picked up this little cactus at Walmart today, so I'd like to think I saved it. Anyways it looks pretty healthy having been there.
Anyone know what kind it is? Would now be a good time to repot or should I wait a bit? Thanks (:
