Update on the plant.
I repotted today evening. Sad thing is root rot started. I saw few discoloured roots. Removed them, removed old soil carefully , washed it and applied cinnamon powder generously. As you suggested potted it in fresh soil with raised caudex. Have not watered it at all. Will water it after 2-3 days . I just pray that my plant survives. I am happy I sacrificed flowers for the plant. If waited too long plant would have been dead. Thanks for helping .:)
