cinnamon -
above soil mix .....I only use cinnamon only when I do not have any Copper Fungicide Dust
below in the root zone ....only use cinnamon only when I do not have any Rootone (hormone + fungicide)
cinnamon is my second choice ..

and ....sometimes .... if it is relatively dry - and not humid ...wont use anything ....will leave plant not potted and allow the cut to harden over on its own (if dry takes about a week)

frankly ....i am surprised this plant is still alive ..... if you just cut the top off .... then give it about a month to grow new growth ....

if no growth happens, try again ....with a finer, sandier, less organic potting medium
