I have a haworthia in which the oldest parts seem to be dying off and new starts are coming up. Is this normal? And should I separate the dying parts - it seems to be taking a long time and the plant looks not so good - well at least the red dying part looks bad.

Any ideas on this would be appreciated.

Thanks
Bill
