The core rotted. It wasnt a classic wet rot like most cacti suffered at the time, or the dry rot parodias experienced. It probably went down to the bad soil. I kept it alive for a long time , and it was doing for a couple of years. But somehow I messed up. Crying
Its death might have contributed quite a bit to my "getting good". I know it was ...when I was still in faculty. Might have been late 2017 or early 18. Before I joined you guys.
