@GlennR I would start some cuttings from your Charles Grimaldi now, if you have a sunny windowsill for them. Take cuttings about 10in. or a foot long. Rooting is easy, either in water or with paper towel as suggested above. They form roots quite quickly and within 2 weeks you'll need to pot them up. There's no reason to wait, as you'll just have bigger, healthier plants by spring that will bloom sooner if you start them now.
Keep moist and once they leaf out keep on a sunny windowsill - your winter sun is weak enough and days short enough that they will be very happy. Indoors, spider mites can be a concern, but you just need to take the plants to the sink and spray them down with water maybe once a week to keep that under control. Spider mites hate water, they like it warm and dry. Keep a close eye out for them though.
Here in FL brugs grow and bloom right through the winter if we don't get a strong cold front. I get blooms about every 4 to 5 weeks. Mine just finished a bloom cycle, and I'm going to make some cuttings now because they need to be pruned.
