The last two days have been a blessing to me. It's rained Sunday for about an hour and nearly 8 hours today. This gave me a big break, really big break. I've gotten my seeds labeled up til 5-27 and I've got two more days ready to make the labels so that's take about an hour and another hour to put them on tomorrow. This will get me up to 4 days from the date of the cross and that's about as close as I get. Any closer and they are just too small to try to put the labels on.

I too, am on the downhill side of bloom season. I've got loads of rebloom scapes but nothing like the last 4 weeks. May was like a runaway train!!!

My DH went to town today to get some painting supplies and he went by Staples for me. I broke my mic/headset that goes to my voice recorder last week. He tried one from Walmart, but it didn't fit. The one he got me at Staples fits the recorder and it also has an adapter for my PC and cell-phone. It was $15 but still, with all the adapters, it's worth it. While there he went to the discounted aisle and found the paper clips I use for marking my seed crosses. I've been giving $10 for 800 at Office Max, 8 colors. these are only 6 colors, but there are 1000 of them and they were on sale for only $3.00. That's 70% off plus an extra 200 clips. He got the only 5 packs here but that will be enough for next year. You might find the same at your local Staples.
