Dennis...So glad you are better! Costco (if you have one) usually has 22 inch containers each year, if you can, watch out for them and get a collection.

You might even try baseless pots, where you cut off the bottom and let the rose root into the soil. Bunny Guinness UK garden designer does this as a design element and for poor soil. She has it on a youtube channel.
