I can't believe ants are eating lily bulbs. They are probably after the sweeter excrement of other insects attacking the bulb(s), like root aphids. It's a common occurrence.

So that's what G.F. Wilson is supposed to look like, Mags. Mine turned out to be another Claude Shride or some such. And it came from our Lily Society sale, too!

Well I really don't see any need for more flower pics, but these are kinda different...
