I actually find this an interesting question but for a different reason.
I use a rechargeable weed eater that is a bit heavier. I find it sometimes gets out of balance for me and scalps the grass.
Now I live in a rural area so am not particular about the appearance as the grass will grow out but I wonder if a set of wheels would support the weight and balance as well as allow it to cut evenly.
What got me to thinking about this was the edger has a support wheel that certainly makes it easier to maneuver.
