Did you get any other pics of it? Was it inside or outside? Location of the BG? It does look more Callisia-ish. Are you able to crop the most focused part of the pic & add the crop here?
I wonder if it could be this? This has been more hardy in my yard than Callisia fragrans or C. congesta (not a real name but has no other name, yet). Inch Plant (Tradescantia cerinthoides)
