Can you give us focused close-ups of the speckles on the leaves?

If I were convinced I had that many insect eggs on my plant, I'd be removing them ASAP before they hatched into an infestation. You can later ID from the pictures. I do think it's one of many types of slime mold, but maybe others have a different opinion.
