If it were mine I would place it outside.
Not sure of the growing conditions it was in before you got it, I'd put it somewhere were it gets filtered sunlight.
Early Spring I'd place it outside were it gets direct sunlight all day.
It may not go dormant inside, and there would no be enough sunlight for it.
