They would've rooted fine in soil or water of course, but soil's been talking a while and I'm a follower of water roots having to convert into soil roots and that takes a while too.

This seems like a good middle ground. Closer look tomorrow but it'll be 3 weeks this Sunday that I drilled the holes and prepped it.

While I'm thinking about it, do you think they're closer to soil roots or water roots, or that they're all the same? They're on top of loose moss with a few extra wads tucked over the nodes. Misted every 3 days or so, about 18" under strong LED lights.
