that's an interesting color combination to come out of that cross, serjio. a little too greyed for my garden. personal preference is for clearer colors,. it would perhaps do better in larger gardens, than mine, where one could have a multitude of colors and the greyed colors would serve as a bridge to other bright colors.

with my garden being so tiny, every blossom is seen and if they are too greyed they don't combine well, but make the garden too spotty and muddied.

generally, i plant analogous colors, combinations of blue and pink hues. of course, i do use shades of said colors to mix, and an occasional white or light to highlight or add interest. i try use a combo of ( not an exact science, but what's pleasing to my eye) little more than 1/3 dark and light or white, then 2/3 mid color range. it doesn't always work out, though, because the irises in my garden bloom when they please, and not according to their "average" bloomtime. Whistling Hilarious!
